Motorsweden, part of North European Trust AB, is growing and is now looking for a junior operational buyer who wants to take the next step in their career.

In this role, you will primarily work with the purchase of vehicles and spare parts from Asia, from order placement to delivery. All work is done digitally and with established suppliers through direct import. You will work closely with the company's other buyers and collaborate with other functions to create the best delivery reliability, cost control, and inventory and delivery planning. You will mainly work operationally with purchasing, although strategic purchasing work will also occur. You will plan purchases, follow up on deliveries, coordinate with logistics partners, and analyze costs, delivery data, and inventory levels to create efficiency throughout the flow.Main Responsibilities:

• Purchasing vehicles and spare parts, order placement, delivery planning, and follow-up on deliveries with suppliers

• Responsible for the documentation of purchases in the form of import documentation, customs documents, delivery documents, etc.

• Contact and management of suppliers in Asia as well as collaboration with logistics partners

• Analysis and reporting of purchasing data, deviations, and key figures as well as planning of inventory levels

• Budget and cost tracking for purchases

• Work on improvement projects and efficiency.

Other tasks may also occur.

In the role of operational buyer, your financial knowledge and understanding are very important. You have a strong analytical ability and a good sense for working with numbers. This, combined with your attention to detail, ensures that every part of the purchasing chain is handled in the best way. Furthermore, you are good at collaborating and can build relationships, but you can and will also need to act assertively towards suppliers. Since Motorsweden primarily deals with light vehicles and parts for them, it is a plus if you are technically interested and have knowledge of engines, vehicles, or similar products.

• Experience in purchasing from Asia

• Excellent Excel skills

• Good financial understanding

• Strong communication skills and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English

• Technically interested and knowledgeable about engines and vehicles

• Relevant education in finance or purchasing

• Experience working in the business system Visma NET

• If you speak additional languages besides Swedish and English

Working Hours: Primarily 08:00 - 16:30 on weekdays. During peak season, some weekend work may also occur.
